Review on 🚗 FORTEM Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor - Powerful 12V Electric Pump for Cars and Bikes, LED Light, Digital Pressure Gauge, Auto Pump & Shut Off, Carrying Case - Red by Bob Schultz

This FORTEM is faster, quieter and more powerful than my Wagan 3-IN-1. I bought 2 of these FORTEMS; one for my Corolla and one for my wife's Camry. We tested both Fortem on Camry tires. Each fortem has 2 tires inflated. We inflated 4 tires in total. We plugged the Fortem into a 12v car outlet while the vehicle was running. Fortem reported that tire pressure is currently 36psi. So we said FORTEM (i.e. by pressing the plus sign) to increase the tire pressure to 41psi. A NOTICE! Once the tire pressure is set to the desired value, you MUST wait for the display to stop flashing before turning on the compressor switch. This detail is not in the instructions. If you try to turn on the compressor switch while the display is still flashing, the compressor will not turn on. Once the display stopped flashing, we turned on the FORTEM compressor switch and watched the tire pressure increase 0.5 psi until it reached 41 psi. Once the FORTEM reading reached 41psi, the compressor would run for a few more seconds before automatically shutting off. With FORTEM, this process took about a minute; which surprised me because it would take my Vagan at least 2 or 3 minutes to do this. FORTEM was significantly faster and quieter than my Wagan. In addition, unlike Wagan, FORTEM has a digital display and an automatic switch-off. Also, the FORTEM digital display is much easier to read than the analog needle on my Wagan. So far I am very satisfied with FORTEM; it is far superior to Wagan. I cannot rate the durability of this product at this time; However, the excellent warranty and responsive customer service in the reviews convinced me that this is a product to buy. If anything changes about this product, I will update my review.
