Design could use improvement

Pros: 1) Aesthetically pleasing and good overall quality. Provides external protection from scratches/dirt. 2) The Surface Pro no longer feels like it could fall off its knees at any moment. 3) The temperature regulation of the device (unlike other similar products) is hardly disturbed by the ventilation holes in the top. . However, these holes are cut near the seams, and the material around some of the holes eventually blocks the surface's own vents. Cons: 1) The Surface Pen's magnetic pull to the left side of the Pro has been reduced, primarily because the pen is up to the edge is flat. Alternatively, a "stylus loop" is included in the case, but I'm not sure how long the loop's elasticity will last before it wears out. 2) Reduced footrest angle range. Due to the thickness of the shell material, it is no longer possible to swing the footrest back completely. The maximum angle of the screen is now almost 20 degrees in relation to the table. I honestly don't understand why the product has to be so thick (it's supposed to be a piece of cardboard under the fancy exterior). The Surface can stand on its own, so it doesn't need any reinforcement, except perhaps for the underside, which rests on the table/knees. 3) Using the Surface as a tablet isn't as ergonomic anymore. Tilting the bottom flap increases the width. In addition, the valve itself cannot be fixed, which can be annoying. Removing the entire surface from the case to use it as a tablet is fine, but I can see how the rubber straps that hold the surface in the case can wear down too often.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Damaged
