5/8 base but much wider shell portion
Purchased for MCM chairs with thin metal legs (1/2 inch at the top). Due to the angle of the legs does not stick. protectors work. I've tried the rubber tips which fit well but don't slip or leave black marks on the floor. They're sloppy and don't stay straight, but they glide well and are 1000% better than any other option so far. The guard that slides around the cushion stays in place and allows the chair to rock back and forth. I would have liked to see something with more taper at the top rather than a bowl shape to sit perfectly in place and stay in place.
