I replaced the socket I got from Home Depot with this higher quality DELTA socket. Of course I have a shower head on one end of the outlet and a hand held shower head with a 6ft hose on the other outlet. You can switch between shower head or hand shower. As with other switches, you can also assign 50% to the shower head and 50% to the hand shower, or any other percentage you like. This drain comes with a thick rubber washer on the end of the drain. This thick rubber washer doesn't leak, unlike my other Home Depot model. Overall it is well designed and I am 100% satisfied with its functionality and finish. The idler arm is smooth and rotates 90 degrees effortlessly. All threads are well formed, and the edges of the threaded pipes are smooth and not sharp, preventing small water leaks. I've currently attached the showerhead and handheld shower hose to these threads without using "teflon tape" and there doesn't appear to be any leaks. The inlet side of the drain is connected with a thick rubber washer without Teflon tape and does not leak. RogerLouis April 9, 2020
