These pads are very durable. Used two of these with a 3/8" drill bit for about 6 hours to remove water stains on a glass shower door. Then I polished two copper sinks with two more pads. Cleaned them and could hardly distinguish them from new ones, has held up very well. I ordered some cerium oxide for polishing glass and copper but it didn't work very well and I ended up using a car polish paste. The compound worked much better but still a lot of work to remove hard water stains.
