I will not blame the product for being too short for iPhone. I took a chance and bought it to work with my DJI Spark controller and my iPhone X. The two elastic straps around each wing barely covered both ends of the iPhone X and I'm afraid the phone will slip out of the hood when flying. . I need to use this with my iPhone 6S Plus which is a longer phone. I put the lens hood on an iPhone 6S Plus and everything was perfect. Keep in mind that the iPhone 6S Plus measures 6 3/8 inches while the iPhone X measures 5 5/8 inches overall. Don't buy this for the iPhone X. It's still a good product, well built and professional looking. Measure the length of your pipe.
