Worst mounting tape so far

I ran out of old 3M exterior emblem mounting tape. I have now gone through 3 different double sided tapes, all without success, including by the way, 3M mounting tape. The old 3M tape lasted for 6 years before dyring out. This tape is of exceptionally poor quality. I'm stunned at all of the 5 star ratings because if this can't hold a simple phone mounting bracket to the dash, what are other people mounting?

Pros

This product adhered what I wanted to the thing I wanted.

Cons

The tape may not be suitable for use in extreme temperatures, such as hot summers or freezing winters, leading to failure and damage to the vehicle
