I recently replaced the parking brake pads on my 2007 Honda Element. I figured this tool would make it a lot easier than the last time I used small needle nose pliers and a screwdriver. Not even close. The springs on these parking brakes are too small to be used with this tool. Of course, I installed everything with hubs, so space in my suitcase was very limited. The small needle nose pliers worked best though and did the job very well. I'm not criticizing the tool that much, just stating that it's too big for my application. I'm pretty sure there are smaller tools out there and maybe I should have done more research. Just my experience with a smaller drum type parking brake. This might work well for others. So I think my suggestion to everyone is make sure the tool is not too big for your work.
