Firstly it is very easy to use. Each function is pretty easy to understand. So far I've tested it on my 2011 Toyota RAV4 V6. Strangely, the AUTOvin function couldn't find my VIN at all, but the OBD2 function found it right away. He read all the data from my machine without any problems. I need to know exactly how long it has been since the dealer cleared the codes on my RAV4. That was over 65,000 miles ago. There are absolutely no codes and my Toyota has passed whatever tests it can run. Another nice feature is that it tells you exactly what to do with your car. That is, if you need to turn off the engine, but the car is in accessory mode, you will be informed about it. It tells you exactly which button does what in all situations. It's not a difficult tool to use. So far I'm quite happy with them. Yes, the autovin feature didn't work is a little strange, but my vin was found somewhere else right away, so I don't care. You'll be happy with it as long as you read its features and make sure it can do what you want it to. Bleeding your electronic ABS braking system or boosting your turbo boost pressure will not help you, but if you are looking to read and/or clear codes then you have come to the right place.
