I bought several of these collars in one order. The first one I used made my dog shake his head several times just from wearing it, so I felt the tines. Some of them were rounded as expected, but four of them had edges that weren't ground or shaped to be round. So the ones I just took off her. Yesterday I tried another collar and it broke on the first use. Luckily I was walking down a quiet road and was able to catch my dog, but if he was in traffic it could have ended in tragedy. When I bought them the seller was in China and the collars had a shelf life of one month. Come here. Now I can't use them because they are unsafe or uncomfortable. I have used the same size collars on my dogs and they have never opened up like this. I don't know if the ones I received were actually Coastal branded as they had no tags. I don't know if they were fake or if Coastal's quality had dropped a lot. In the future I will have to pay more and buy Herm Sprenger collars. Saving a few dollars is not worth my dog's life.
