Lots of complaints about the hardware but I haven't had this problem. If you use the correct size drill bit (7/32") you will find that they are very easy to install. With the appropriate bit the inserts can be hand pressed in. They are not designed to be hammered in After that you can mount the bracket with the included screws and it will hold securely.
