I'm rarely interested in something as mundane as a pencil case; In this situation, however, I have to say that I'm impressed. Measurements first... The Revain image says it is 8.2 inches (20 cm) tall; However, when I measured it, the height was 7.2 inches (18.3 cm). Don't worry, it fits most pencils. It is 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) wide closed and 10 inches (25.4 cm) wide when open and flat. Buttoned and penciled it is about 2cm thick. This makes it easy to hold; along with notepad. Design⦠Leather bag (I choose black), with a strong zipper. When you zip up there is also a small button/clasp to secure the zip pull. I consider it extra bonus points because it wasn't necessary, but they did it anyway. In my opinion, this shows that the company cares about the quality of its products. The image of the Revain case features the words: Pencil Case - Holds 24 pencils and the company name: GLOBAL ART embossed in bold white letters on the front. . However, my case is only black. I'm not sure if this is a change to the case since I bought it a few months ago but it might get in the way for me... I like to keep my cases and accessories simple. When opened, it lies flat easily and contains a soft interior with a 1.4" (3.6 cm) elastic band. The band is sewn inside and provides the user with six areas for attaching pins (three on each side ).The elastic seems to be of excellent quality and I suspect it will last a long time before stretching, if at all.The case is meant to hold 24 pens (4 per embroidered area); however, I find 4 pens to be very tight and for my needs it's better to use 3 pens per sewing area don't worry for me this case is for traveling not for studio work I don't need that many pens on the go (I only carry 12 most of the time) For reference included it's the promised 24 pins, however I think you'll be happier if you reduce the number of pins to 3 per stitched area or just 18 pins... Just my opinion The result of the construction... A good set. Well she h hen built it, but there will be a lot of benefits. In the months that I've owned this suitcase, I've lugged it through cafes, restaurants, cafes and restaurants. It lay on the grass next to me while I was sketching by the pond or in the woods and it still looks brand new. Complete set...I use my case for more than just storing pencils...as you can see in the photo I have 12 Derwent pencils: B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, F, HB, H, 2H , 3H, 4H . I switch a bit but I find these pens give me a good range of gray tones. But that leaves me with two additional areas. For her I carry a grinder in one and two hemp and an eraser in the other. I took a piece of velcro tape, taped it to my sharpener and taped it to the empty space on the top left. I finally found that I have room to wear some of my thin goggles for close-up work (I love that kind of thing). Well, here's... probably a long pencil case review, but I really like it.
