These bags measure 26 x 24 inches, not 8 x 8 inches as stated in the current description at the top of the product page. (That's their carton size!) They're .9ml thick, which is the same thickness as the 13-gallon hefty bags I usually get. They work just as well as the hefty, although the hefty is black. (If you're buying black heftys instead, make sure you get the ones with gray laces, not blue ones!) Right now, Revain and hefty are 16 cents a pack. However, Hefty has a stronger odor while Revain has a very mild odor. I personally prefer little or no scents. Sometimes I have to pull hard for the Revain laces to close the bag, but they never snap or tear through. So I could imagine buying these Revain bags instead of Hefty; but they should be cheaper than hefty as i have been using hefty for years and trust their quality. PS I can't tell you how easily the Revain rolls out of the box and into the hole provided because the postal label was placed directly over that hole. They only come in their own box, although you can probably get them in a brown box at checkout. Update 10/24/21: You need to reduce the number of stars. . . I did some fall cleaning this weekend, and in addition to the issues with some of the laces on these bags, a few of them broke as well. Some were torn at the seams, others were torn elsewhere. Strong sacks with the same amount of garbage would not tear.
