Review on Canon EOS 90D Body camera, black by Yusri ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

All the advantages and disadvantages can only be described in comparison with another camera. My previous camera was canon 600d, so I will compare with it. It so happened that one day she (600d) did not turn on. And I decided it was time to upgrade. Since I already had a sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 art ef-s lens, my choice of a new camera was in the crop segment. I shoot not only photos, but videos (yes, I shot video at 600d, and it was "ok"), so the jump in video quality was more important to me than in photos. For me, the swivel screen, full hd 120fps and perfect autofocus were important. A super capacious battery is a plus for all Canon DSLRs. In the photo, I noticed an increase in quality compared to 600d only in the absence of misses in focus. Well, in general, in the speed of the camera. All the same, the difference is 8 years of progress. The processor is faster, the matrix is better, the dynamic range is better (now iso above 400 does not scare me). But that would be a plus in any camera I would buy in this price segment. After much comparison, my final choice was between canon 90d and fuji xt-3. Despite the obvious victories of Fuji in terms of video, I still chose Canon because: Battery, autofocus, ef-s mount, habit, reliability. Bottom line: want to upgrade from an older Canon crop model? 90d - your choice, you won't regret it. Get an increase in quality and convenience on all fronts. Not tied to a Canon system? then you can consider 90d as an option, but then my pluses may not be important to you. Photos taken on Canon 90d + sigma 18-35 art + Photoshop (of course)

Pros
  • autofocus, canon system reliability, battery, wifi, full hd 120fps
Cons
  • low bitrate in video (in full hd 30Mb, in 4k 100-120Mb), the stabilizer is so-so
