I bought these pads on sale for $15 so that's a plus but I'm a bit disappointed with how much dust they emit and how squeaky they are. It's been about 2 weeks since I put them on and ridden them with lots of hard stops to break them in but I can still hear the squeaking. I kind of miss my old pads because there was almost no dust on my wheels and I've never had a problem with squeaks. I hope that these pads will stop squeaking and break down soon. Edit: It's been about a year since I've worn them and I'm still not impressed. My wheels turn PERFECTLY black after a few weeks without dusting and still squeak. Seems like the pad is too big for my car (2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring). I think the rotor creates a lip in the pad that is causing the squeak. We put shims behind the pads when we first tighten them, so I don't necessarily think the squeak is due to vibration/movement. Next time I make my own brakes I won't buy them even if they are on sale. Maybe I'll try to take a step or two up from these.
