I bought two of these cables after the original 3 foot cable broke after two years of use. The two new cables were packed in the mostly small zippered Revain bag. After I took out the first cable and used it for about two weeks, the cable stopped charging the controller. I thought my controller had failed since the cable was brand new. Then I pulled out the second one that was still in the box and stuck it in my controller just to see what would happen and boom, my controller turned back on. I figured the first cable was just a bad cable and this second one should definitely work. Two weeks later, the second cable also failed! I don't know if the PS4 cables aren't meant to be that long, or if the manufacturer uses poor assembly methods, bad parts, or maybe the way they package and store the cables, but these cables aren't durable at all. I have never wrapped them in a way that would break the copper as I have always laid them out straight as I usually use them for several hours a day. It's a shame because I really liked the length of these cables.
