Review on 📱 Stylish Black Case-Mate iPhone 8 Wallet Case - TOUGH ID - Protective Leather Design for Apple iPhone 8 by Tony Doolittle

UPDATE 7/29/18: I contacted Casemate directly and they sent me a brand new case under warranty due to a factory defect (see issues below and attached photos). The warranty process was easy and I received the case within 3 days! Upgraded to 5 stars for customer service and the fact that I love this case. UPDATE: I've been using this case for about 6 months now and am still happy with its overall performance as a stand in both portrait and landscape modes. and how hard it is. I've dropped it on concrete countless times and the phone hasn't been damaged. The bad news is that the case shows signs of wear unrelated to my falls. Drops pretty much hit the corners where there's a bit of chipping, but that's due to impact. What I don't like is that there are bubbles around the camera opening, the stand is a bit loose. The stand still works wonders but is slightly crooked when closed. Also, there was noticeable flaking on the portholes, which is unattractive and I'm poking around at it. Don't get me wrong, I still love the stand for its functionality, but I had to deduct a star for the aesthetics, which wears off after 6 months. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't like how the reviews of all the TOUGH series cases are grouped together. I can only speak for TOUGH STAND and say it's awesome! I've never had a suitcase with a stand and after using this suitcase for a couple of weeks I can't imagine not having one now. The good grip on the edges is fantastic. I like this feeling and sometimes I rub it 😊; the back is very smooth and bothered me at first, but then I realized that it can easily go into the pockets; the buttons are very tactile; My phone is in portrait mode so I can read on my Kindle app. I don't use screen protectors, but if you do they can be flush with the lip. Overall - LOVE the kickstand and tactile grip feel; I highly recommend it! You can see in the photo that I added a mirror on the back to make it look a bit more feminine along with the finger strap.
