Review on 🐠 Uniclife Battery-Operated Aquarium Air Pump with Air Stone and Airline Tubing - Portable Outdoor Fishing Oxygen Pump by Jeremy Taylor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great price for a great battery operated air pump

I ordered 4 of these pumps to transport 4 medium sized goldfish from my old apartment to my new home. I bought a 5g blue lidded pail from Lowe's. One pump was enough to get the job done, but I'm glad I have extras on hand. A stone creates an impressive bubble distribution and the batteries in the pump last all day. The controls are simple and the clip on the pump allowed me to clip it to the side of the bucket for easy portability. If you use a bucket like I do, I would suggest drilling a hole in the top of the lid for the air hose to pass through and attach the pump to the bucket handle or otherwise attach it. The noise is as expected. Most air pumps are inherently quite noisy and this is no exception. I didn't care for my purpose, but if you want a quiet block I recommend looking elsewhere. Someone answered the question that they can be used as a primary air pump for an aquarium because they can be connected to the wall and then to the batteries. turns on only when the power is off. It sounds too good to be true, and it is. It is not possible to connect the pump to an external power source, therefore these pumps ONLY run on batteries.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Something different
