Update: The company sent me a replacement. Good customer service! BUT, same problem. I noticed that the new model (pictured left) has magnetic blocks while the old model (pictured right) only has two magnetic strips. The difference in the magnets is the reason for the non-uniformity of the magnetic force. I advise against buying a new model. I liked my first purchase so much that I immediately bought a second one. But the second is not the same! The magnet is heterogeneous (the magnet is either strong or weak in different places). This can cause the knife to swing, which is very dangerous! Bad quality control.
