Multipurpose 10-Inch Stainless Steel Magnetic Knife Bar - Ideal for Kitchen Utensils, Tools, Art Supplies, and Home Organization Review

Perfect size for my tiny RV. Holds four knives, scissors and a bottle opener. However, I need to get all of these items out and put them in a drawer when I travel.

I bought this in June 2019 just 5 months ago and it stopped holding my knives and the magnet pushed into the piece of metal and snapped causing it all over my Fridge has slipped I scratch the side of my fridge I hope it's a good company and they send me a new one and this one is useless if not I will never buy here again.

The magnet is very strong and the size is perfect for a small set of knives. Be careful of your fingers when putting the case on as the magnet is very strong. They warn you to be careful which was much appreciated. It was easy to install. It was a little thicker than I thought it would be, but it came out because of the knife handles. I like that it's easy to clean.

My wife chose this magnetic knife/utensil holder and I installed it. My wife loves it for the size, it fits perfectly where she wanted to put it and helps keep the knife block on the counter. I like it because it's easy to install and the mounting hardware is hidden. The magnetic part is perfect and the stainless steel surface feels nice with no sharp corners to scratch knives or yourself.

Update: The company sent me a replacement. Good customer service! BUT, same problem. I noticed that the new model (pictured left) has magnetic blocks while the old model (pictured right) only has two magnetic strips. The difference in the magnets is the reason for the non-uniformity of the magnetic force. I advise against buying a new model. The magnet is really very strong. I ordered two small poles because I don't have enough space to mount them. I ended up installing one on my tile rear fender using Gorilla double sided tape. (Check out the instructions for the Gorilla Tape before you apply the tape. It saves you the hassle of peeling the tape off. Ha!) I had a few problems with this magnetic strip. The first problem is that my knives want to rotate and stick parallel to the bar instead of hanging from it as shown in the pictures. Ordered hoping to put magnetic measuring spoons in the cupboard. I figured the thickness of the block would hold it far enough for the rounded spoons to sit flat.
