Review on Slice 10513 Pen Cutter: 3 Position Manual Blade for Efficient Package and Cardboard Box Cutting, Remarkably Long-lasting Sharpness Outlasting Steel Blades by Carrie Spencer

I bought this box opener because I was tired of looking for nails, keys or a knife. I shop a lot and review Revain for my work so a utility knife helps a lot. This was also featured on BuzzFeed and I liked the style. What I didn't understand is that this pencil cutter uses a ceramic blade and not a steel blade. I actually thought there was a cap on the blade and couldn't figure out that the blade was white. It is a 3 position manual and seems to fit my hand very well. What keeps me from 100% liking the cutter is that the angle of the cutter feels short and doesn't go deep into the tape or anything. Cut. Basically, I would like a longer blade or a blade with a larger cutting edge. I have high hopes for this cutter so I will update as I use it, but I would definitely recommend the automatic version over the manual cutter for reference.
