Pretty good for the price

I was deciding between this product and the Graftobian concealer palette (for a lot more money). Both have great reviews and a good selection. So I tried to be somewhat conscious and selected a palette of coastal scents. Also because of the many positive reviews on YouTube that she has received. The palette is quite large and there are so many colors to mix, match and play with. I use lighter colors as highlighters above my cheeks and under my brows. I use the middle two colors (top and bottom) as they are the closest to my skin tone (depending on application). I use darker colors for contouring or as a base for shadows. So I know that eventually I will use every color. Consistency - dry / thick cream. Easy application with a dabbing motion (no swiping). They can also be built up, I tried to blend them before applying - the colors just get cloudy - so I'll blend differently. Spider veins on the cheeks, acne spots, dark areas under the eyes. Each test was performed on a clean, toned, moisturized and primed face. The first test was just the concealer itself - tapping it with the ring finger. It was good but I had to apply multiple coats to really cover my problem areas. Also, it never completely covered my sunspots unless I had a thick layer (which I don't want to do - looks bad). The second test was to apply a thin coat of Graftobian color correctors to my problem areas. I waited a minute for the correctors to set and then applied the concealer (with another smack with my ring finger). Most of my problem areas have been covered. Even the sunspot was obscured a little. Both times I lightly set with powder and pressed it into the desired areas. But my dilemma was obvious! I didn't apply foundation! So my next test was the same as above but first with a liquid base applied with a wet beauty blender. Slightly better results. My final test - my favorite - apply thin coats of color corrector, then concealer, and then airbrush my foundation. I prefer this method to multiple coats of simple airbrushing. In some places it will be too dry. But because of these multiple layers I don't have to use a lot of one product and they go together pretty well. And I can use a slightly darker concealer to do the outline so it gets a more "blended" look with my airbrush. I am happy with my purchase.
