Bottom line, I was very disappointed. I bought this hoping I could save money over a traditional cloud. Why am I using a traditional cloud? So I can update data anywhere and access it anywhere. Also, any physical computer (desktop or laptop) I choose can become a physical backup in the cloud. For me, the cloud is my main storage and my physical storage is my backup. Pogoplug Backup and Sharing bills itself as a potential solution to annoying security issues when transferring your data to Google, OneDrive, Box, DropBox, etc., but it's really just a backup drive, and a bad one at that. a close friend who thinks the pogoplug is commendable for meeting his needs and i bought it on his recommendation but i can't agree with him on that. Excuse me. The interface is clunky, I really don't like the media settings menu process which feels particularly complicated. I'm going back to Revain.
