This is actually my third Altec Lansing product. Each of them sounds amazing. I highly recommend investing in these kids. Rockbox XL is no exception. It's like an upgraded boombox, as everyone says. Front and rear speakers, battery, USB, good bluetooth range, quality speakers, great sound threshold and good weight to take to the beach and whatever. My only concern is that the lighting effects seem cheap, almost like an afterthought they just added. Still not bad I think. Haven't tried it partially submerged yet, but probably never will. Absolutely worth buying.
