I really liked this laptop desk. I really did. The problem for me is the main part of the table (laptop table) and this problem is twofold. The biggest problem is that the arm doesn't reach far enough on the table. I've tried different chairs around the house, but I only have so many with 2.5 inches of bottom space to accommodate pivoting table legs. As you can see from my photos, the table only reaches the armrest of my chair, which means I have to sit at an angle on the chair to look at the screen and use the table for the mouse. Typing at an angle is not my idea of comfort. I also tried using this table in my queen size bed. Even when I'm sitting right on the edge of the bed, the laptop desk's armrest doesn't extend far enough to comfortably use my laptop. This table doesn't look like a hospital table at all because the hospital table slides out much further. The second issue is that the small ledge at the front of the laptop table isn't high enough to prevent my laptop from sliding right over it. My new laptop now has a whole new scratch on its screen due to this problem. I added a thin piece of weather window strip p (grey item in my photo) which solved the problem but looks ugly. I would have returned the table whole if I hadn't recycled the box it came in. If you're looking for a table that extends into the center of a large living room chair, or one that extends far enough across your bed to use your laptop in bed, this table isn't for you. I'm disappointed and my back is killing me. :(
