The ASUS ProArt PA279CV monitor offers an impressive 4K resolution display that can be connected to a wide range of devices. This monitor is designed for those who need a crisp, colorful display for professional or casual use. The brightness and contrast make it ideal for viewing photos or videos. The brightness of 350 nits, while not as high as more expensive monitors, seems to have a higher light output. I connected this monitor to my Mac mini M1. I first tried a few connections (USB-C and HDMI) and had success with HDMI, which gave an amazing display. I have some minor problems. This monitor has an on/off switch next to the power cord and an on/off switch on the front of the display. It is necessary? The well-designed ports face down, so connecting cables was tricky. My other complaint is that there's a series of buttons in the lower-right corner of the display for adjusting the controls (brightness, contrast, color palette, etc.). My previous monitor used a joystick behind the monitor which was easier to use. If you're looking for a monitor with a great, sharp picture, seriously consider this ASUS ProArt.
