Review on Physicians Formula Perfect Matcha 3-in-1 Melting Cleansing Balm, 1.4 oz by Helen Love

Good alternative to CLINIQUE Cleansing Balm

I've been using CLINIQUE Cleansing Balm for a long time and chose the Physician's Formula Cleansing Balm after falling in love with its healthy base. The PF Cleanser costs half as much as the CLINIQUE Cleansing Balm, which is about half the price of CLINIQUE. Compared to CLINIQUE, PF has a very light, refreshing scent that I really like. If you maybe don't like it if you are sensitive to smell. PF Balm is easier to emulsify than CLINIQUE, but the cleaning power is about the same. I've used it to remove mascara and both come off easily. The only thing that made me prefer PF is that I found that after washing off the balm I no longer need to use cleanser to clean my face. I have combination skin and I always feel like my face is still a bit greasy after washing off the CLINIQUE balm, but after washing off the PF balm it no longer feels slippery (I don't know how to describe it exactly , but it's like I feel a slight heave (friction when fingers touch a freshly washed face). However, if you have dry skin, PF might be a bit dry for you. Please take this into account if you are interested in buying. Overall I will most likely be using PF Balm from now on unless CLINIQUE has a sale on their website.
