Maybe old or fake? Terrible anyway.

This is my first time using this product so I'm not sure if the item I received was old or counterfeit (color formula is similar to another review here, where someone said it was fake). But this stuff smells awful, doesn't really work, and doesn't emulsify as expected. The only thing I can compare this cleaning balm to is the Farmacy Green Clean Cleaning Balm (which I really like). And this thing is awful after using this cleaning green. On the other hand maybe this product is good if you get…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some imperfections

A good product! Worth a try, but not alone.

Liked the compact package. Small enough to fit in my skincare travel kit but still enough product. Apply a sufficient amount of the product to your face with a spatula and use your fingertips to dissolve the applied makeup in a circular motion. I've tried it with waterproof makeup (matte foundation, blush, highlighter, concealer, bronzer, waterproof eyeliner and mascara, and UD All Nighter Setting Spray). First I tried breaking it without water but it didn't work. I added some water and it…

Good alternative to CLINIQUE Cleansing Balm

I've been using CLINIQUE Cleansing Balm for a long time and chose the Physician's Formula Cleansing Balm after falling in love with its healthy base. The PF Cleanser costs half as much as the CLINIQUE Cleansing Balm, which is about half the price of CLINIQUE. Compared to CLINIQUE, PF has a very light, refreshing scent that I really like. If you maybe don't like it if you are sensitive to smell. PF Balm is easier to emulsify than CLINIQUE, but the cleaning power is about the same. I've used it…

It might work for you, but it just doesn't work for me.

Advantages: -Packaging. The spatula lid was really innovative and practical and kept things clean. - Removes makeup well. Left no trace. - Price. Cons: - I threw up terribly. I'm prone to acne but found a treatment that works for me and I haven't had pimples this big in a long time. This is the only new product I have introduced and when I stopped using it my skin started to return to normal but was still healing. She's kind of dry. I use cleansing balm as part of my double cleansing routine…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No insurance

Does not emulsify or wash off

I have tried the Banila Co & Heimish cleansing balms and they are so much better! PF Cleansing Balm does not emulsify well enough to rinse off completely. You will definitely have to work hard to get rid of it. It's like leaving a residue. Keep this as a last resort if I run out or if guests are staying overnight and need makeup remover. Very disappointed with this product

Goes rancid quickly and smells like burnt potato chips

I haven't written a review for a while but this balm is so bad I have to warn everyone. I was introduced to makeup remover balms after trying Farmacy Green Clean which is good but too expensive for my daily budget. I tried Physician's Formula Green Tea Balm when it was sold at CVS. I used it for 2 weeks and it turned light green. After 2 weeks it was already rancid and had a terrible smell. I attributed this to CVS stock and bought it from Revain. Again, within 2 weeks the balm will turn light…
