I received this gauge in exchange for my honest review from Vine, thinking it would be a great replacement for the cheap plastic gauge that came with my compressor. This sensor is made from materials that all sensors should use - glass, steel and brass, not some crappy plastic that has cracks or scratches. This pressure gauge has a real glass face with an easy to read display that shows pressure in both imperial and metric units. The sensor has some weight compared to the sensor it replaced and the threads on the brass fitting were perfectly threaded. I wasn't aware that the gauge was filled with liquid (the manufacturer didn't clearly state this), but after installing it and watching my compressor fill, it was obvious that it was muffled as the gauge needle wasn't like the original oscillated. due to compressor vibration. Wasn't expecting to see this, but the fact that it's packed (which I don't know) is just an added bonus. Ultimately, the true value of a pressure gauge is how accurately it measures pressure. Having no test equipment available to compare I have to rely on the manufacturer's accuracy but I can say my compressor has an internal regulator set at 150psi and when it was done filling the gauge showed also 150 pounds per square inch. Overall I am impressed with the quality and materials used in this gauge and would happily recommend it to anyone who needs to measure pressure in this range.
