The idea is good in concept but the design is flawed. The front end is great. It fits well with plenty of room to move your mouth and breathe without choking yourself. What I hate and what made this mask unwearable for my husband are the ear loops that the strap attaches to and the mount itself. First the strap is sewn to the loop to keep it in place. It has to be somewhere else to be comfortable and fit, but it doesn't move. We have 4 packs. Two are sewn high on the strap and two are sewn low. In an emergency, the middle seems to make the most sense, but free movement would still be better. I can take the stitch ripper alone and see if I can solve this problem. I will update this if this is successful. Another problem is that the loop does not stretch and is too small. In the photos it looks big and fits the models ears. I have small ears and they either sit on top of the earlobe or slide under and lift it up. In addition, they are slightly gathered at the top. My husband has them just above the middle of his ear. His ears are of normal size. If we got a bigger version of this mask then the rest of the mask would be too big. He can't even wear it. He liked the idea of nothing tugging at his ears, but crushing them wasn't any better.
