I use these instead of cotton balls for toner and makeup remover. I don't feel like they take up too much of my products (no more than a cotton swab, anyway). They took 2 cycles in the dryer to fully dry which is not a big deal for me as I do all my laundry in one day so they can just stay inside. If you load less laundry, the drying time may be shorter. uncomfortable. Makeup from the eyes is washed off badly, although it was washed off after 2-3 washes. They do an excellent job of removing eye makeup though, some wipes I've tried just smear makeup all over my face, these wipe it clean. The wooden case they came with is actually very nice, I honestly expected it to be rough and brittle, but I really like it!
