Very strong, needed to be assembled with a screwdriver. Not a very good stand if you want it to be small or big. It has a small range of motion in height. The stand is too short to use for video on a computer when you are sitting at a table and the stand is on the floor as it is under the table. It's not flattering to take the video from the face since it's supposed to be over the face. I had to put the tripod on the table with minimal settings and get up to shoot with zoom. The computer stand has a small edge so my computer falls off when tilted. It looks like this stand is intended for sheet music rather than computer video.
