This is a stand out thing, the picture quality from the camera itself is a bit washed out and low res but good enough for a playing card sized photo. The real benefit is the ability to print photos from your phone, as well as the ability to choose what you print and print multiple copies of the photos you take at any time. You can get a standalone printer and just use your phone, the pictures will look better then, but I think an extra $50 for a camera, even if it's poor quality, is fine. I have a feeling this camera will be one of those things that will be innovative and cool 20 years from now, much like the original Polaroid camera.
