Do not buy! A full lemon and Cuisinart has the WORST customer service in the world!

Update: I WILL NEVER BUY ANY CUISINART PRODUCT AGAIN. Spent an hour on the phone with customer support literally ARGUING with an agent who long refused to put me through to a manager and then to a manager. After all this there is no solution. All they offered was to pick up the car and send it in for repairs. But we would have to stay at home 2-3 days and wait for pickup, which could not even be scheduled for a specific week. . (We're going on vacation in a few days.) Or—take this! -- they emailed us a shipping label so we could have the car delivered to UPS at a time convenient for us, but it took 2-3 DAYS TO SEND THE EMAIL. E-mail! After that, it takes about a month for us to return the car. Complete absurdity. ***** Like many of the other reviewers here, I've bought this car twice - the first lasted a couple of years (not as long as I expected from this brand) and then it started pouring. through the bottom and not through the coffee basket so I figured it was just a little messed up or the problem was somehow my fault and I bought a new one. The new one really is awful - sounds like a combine and now after only 5 months it's doing nothing but sludge with black foam and a half inch of soil in the bottom of a weak, unpleasant tasting cup of coffee. . I've cleaned and reinstalled all the external parts in every way I can, but to no avail. I would have expected more from a car half the price. Cuisinart used to make products of the highest quality.
