I bought these to hang on the fence for my rehearsal dinner in the garden; basically wanted to cover up the fence to create a nice display. It didn't disappoint. They were beautiful! I also bought roses hung on string that was also attached to the fence. It was great. Since the lights had many options (flickering, fading, etc.) I only used the basic function of turning them on. After the event we removed the roses but left the lights on the fence because they are amazing. I needed two strands that easily cling together (read the guide on how to do this). The quality, guidance and variety of lighting features are fantastic. I highly recommend these lamps!
