I have two cats. For the last month, every night after we went upstairs to go to bed, our own cat would stay downstairs, squeaking, meowing, and playing loudly with cat toys. At night she was completely beside herself. I felt bad, it was almost like she was too restless and wanted someone to play with. I tried stroking, combing and lifting it but nothing worked. She went downstairs and resumed her midnight frenzy. I bought these treats just to try, not expecting much. Before I went to bed I gave her two. Since then, she has not resumed the crazy behavior. Remember, she used to do that every night. I gave her two and it seemed to work. I gave her three once and I think it made her vomit. So that's two. I'm guessing she's around 9-10 pounds, relatively small. But loud. By the way, my other cat wasn't interested in these treats, but I still didn't buy them for him. The cat that needed her seems to be enjoying her and I'm happy. UPDATE: They keep working, I'm out of them right now and am buying them back now. My cat has generally calmed down but about once a week she has a wild night, squeaking and jingling toys like a maniac. Two treats and she calmed down.
