I installed these wiper blades on my 2000 Explorer and they hooked right into the factory hooks. After a few months of use, I noticed that they are great at mopping up rainwater, but poor at removing dirt and other debris from the windshield, even after washer fluid has been sprayed on the windshield. I suspect this is because silicone wipers are more flexible than traditional rubber wipers. The silicone blades simply flex and glide through dirt while the squeegees actually "scratch" it. I have to use a large amount of Rain x Bug Remover to get the dirt off as with the usual amount of liquid it just smears. I wish I would replace them with squeegees again soon, but I'm tired of having a gallon of wiper fluid every two weeks. Definitely not the best $50 I've spent on wipers. But they should work great if you live in a place where it rains daily all year round. I should also add that water tends to get stuck in the vents on the wiper blades. Thus, after wiping liquid from the windshield, the wipers leave more behind after each pass. That's a bit annoying.
