Great plug and play camera!

TL;DR - 4.5/5 An easy to use, good quality webcam that is more than adequate for Zoom/Skype calls. -- Pros -- 1) Ease of Use The best thing about this webcam might be the ease of use. You simply plug it into a USB port on your computer and it connects automatically. No software or tricky deals required. If it doesn't appear automatically in Zoom, you may need to click the tab next to Camera and select USB 2.0 Camera. 2) Video quality The quality of the webcam is quite good. This should be more than enough for a regular quarantined work call and can be used to stream to Twitch if you wish. The colors are obviously not very accurate, but I don't see any red/blue tint. It should be noted that the field of view is narrower than a typical laptop webcam. So if you put them directly on top of the laptop screen, your face will fill the entire frame. It works great when attached to the monitor or the included tripod. 3) Privacy Cover The little privacy cover that covers the webcam is great when you're not using it, meaning you don't have to turn off your webcam if you're concerned about privacy. (Although there's no way to ensure the microphone is muted) 4) Microphone Quality Surprisingly, the webcam's built-in microphone is actually pretty good. There's some static noise, but it's honestly better than many laptop mics that make it sound like you're talking underwater. Your voice sounds clear and people will definitely hear you. -- Cons -- 1) Tripod The tripod mount wasn't designed very well for me. Part of the black coating (?) on the outside came off on my fingers. I don't think it's a deal breaker because the real stand works well and even if you don't want to use the included stand the webcam uses a 1/4" screw which means you can disable the tripod . Miscellaneous: The game pause feature they advertise works, but I'm not entirely sure how useful it will be as people will definitely notice when you just get stuck. Overall I think this is a surprisingly good webcam. for $70 because many Logitech webcams are grossly overpriced now and it's almost the same quality but a lot cheaper.
