Review on Vibrant 50 Colors Mica Powder Set for Creative DIY: Lip Gloss, Nails, Soap, Slime, Makeup, and More! by Shantel Griffin

Lots of beautiful flowers.

As usual I spent hours going through all the different mica sets. I'm looking for the widest range of colors as well as packaging, ratings and quantities for my budget. After reading and narrowing down the questionnaire for a long time, I decided on this Baltic Day Set. Most of my projects are small crafts and gifts so 5 grams of each should last a while. Everything arrived neatly packaged, fortunately nothing was spilled. There are a lot of good colors out there but I have to say that so far I'm a bit disappointed with purple and some greens. In the photo it looks like a nice set of different shades of purple, but all the ones I have are very similar in color (see photo). Some of the Greens are like that too. 2 of them look the same, just with different names. There aren't that many TRUE colors either. For example emerald green. Emerald Green has always been a dark green to me, it's a pastel mint green. Scarlet is usually dark red, more orange/rusty. There is nothing olive green in this package. Although they are all very beautiful, many of them look completely different from the photo or from how I have always known them. Haven't used them yet and haven't even opened the packages. I'm still debating whether to keep it or not. I also bought containers for them. Oh yeah. I would add that I bought the 10 gram containers so they weren't filled to the brim. I'm so glad I did. I've weighed most of the bags and haven't found any that weigh less than 6.5 grams! So you get much more than promised. Definitely a plus! I would also prefer a much smaller spoon. The scoop that comes with it is too big and not needed as it "goes a bit far" and doesn't work with the containers I bought for these powders.
