I've put off buying blackout curtains for months because I didn't want to wake up at 2pm. But right now, after daylight savings time, I woke up far too early to sunlight shining through my (east-facing) closed blinds. I expected complete darkness with these curtains. They do not block the light 100%. I was a little disappointed as the product name said "blackout" but also "room blackout" - the last thing it actually does. In the end I'm even a bit relieved because then I can tell what time it is when I wake up without being blinded by the light. around the window. I could definitely still see the outline of the window behind the curtains, but the small tears were clearly hidden. I would say the materials are of pretty good quality. Not the best, but not bad either. Fairly stiff but the threads and bushings appear to be intact. Like others, the two panels I received were of different lengths. One is 1 cm longer than the other, which honestly doesn't really matter to me. When the curtains are closed it's too dark to even notice and when the curtains are drawn they are separated from each other making comparison impossible. But if such details are important to you, then remember that they probably won't be 100% identical. Overall I am very happy with these curtains. I'll iron it later to iron out any creases and wrinkles on the packaging and see if that helps with the shape as it doesn't look as soft and smooth as the stock photos.
