This is the perfect length. I'm planning a trip to Hawaii and want things that could be clothes and swimwear. I plan to go on snorkeling trips and as a plus size, in tight spaces, in a group or with strangers, I feel more comfortable in a more modest swimsuit. They turned out to be firmer than I had hoped but I think they will still work. They fell a little short in the back. I can exchange for a larger size. In fact, I just looked at the pair they sent me and realized they sent me a size smaller than I ordered. I will return the correct size. UPDATE I returned the correct size. You still have a little lack of space; as if I didn't want to bow to the crowd. otherwise they are good. I almost always wear shirts or in this case pants below the waist. I've worn them swimming and the little laces on the side bang on my legs and are a bit annoying.
