Just received the knife and it looks solid. The fact that the teeth are still exposed even when the knife is folded down doesn't bother me. I have to give 4 stars because time will tell. but so far it looks good and solid. I will update my review if anything goes wrong. :)

This is my second 10" Carona folding saw. My first lasted four years before showing signs of dullness. It cuts as efficiently as a sharp saw. Control is better and it leaves a cut that looks like it's been sanded down. It is more convenient and safe to carry. She will go where the bowsaw cannot. Big knife, its smaller Corona 7240 (discontinued?) is a much better tool for pruning small branches and trees. However, it is a gem for large trees up to 7-8 or larger in diameter (2-4 sided cuts). However, and this makes a big difference to me on long hikes and hikes, this knife is curved and so long that it doesn't fold to hide all the teeth. I had a larger version of this saw and fell in love with it. I took 2 smaller saws. One for mom and one for son. This saw is suitable for children, adults, grandparents.
