Review on πŸͺ“ Corona Tools 10-Inch RazorTOOTH Folding Saw: Pruning Saw with Curved Blade for Single-Handed Use, Cuts Branches up to 6" Diameter (RS 7265D) by Chris Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Keep it indoors for garden and lawn maintenance

It cuts as efficiently as a sharp saw. Control is better and it leaves a cut that looks like it's been sanded down. It is more convenient and safe to carry. She will go where the bowsaw cannot. When pruning, she finishes the job by making a cut flush with the trunk. I use it and pruners mainly for the first phase of recycling a branch or tree. It will handle a 5" kerf fairly well, but I'm happy to take a chainsaw after I've taken care of a 2" or less kerf. To save time I kept them in an open shed. After 18 months I noticed rust spots from condensation or fog. I keep a brush and a mustard bottle of motor oil in there to lubricate my tools after use. I thought it was a stainless steel blade, but I liked oiling it so the sap didn't stick. Maybe I forgot, or maybe the light oil wasn't enough. The saw works well so I think I found the problem just in time. Today, blades that can rust can look like blades that can't. I wish the crown had warned me.
