To be honest I was pleasantly surprised! I had a Phillips Hue in my last apartment, but I was moving across the country so I sold everything. I didn't want to spend that much on new Hue lights again, so I went with them. The colors are beautiful, the brightness is perfect and you can adjust the brightness if needed. You can program "smart settings" e.g. B. turn all on and off. or for color adjustment via the app. While I've found some limitations here on the software side, this isn't Hue when it comes to scenes or seamless integration with your smart devices. This requires a Wi-Fi connection and then your phone needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi to control them (that's fine, my phone always connects at home anyway). So I miss the seamless automation a bit. BUT you also save aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. These bulbs are no problem for the budget version of Hues. Yes you don't get all the bells and whistles but you do get the basic features which is all I need. This is the only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 as the shades would have been a 5. They work well, look great and saved me some money. You can't get angry about that! :)
