I cut my exhaust pipe 2.5 inch because the tip really stuck out for my taste but it's up to you. The sound/timbre has not changed. I believe it's just for looks and if so it's good value for money. Some paint was peeling off the tip in one spot but that's okay, I bought something cheap that might eventually get damaged by gravel, sand, dirt etc. In the end a simple installation.
- Black powder coated finish, high temperature resistance, will not scratch or fall off.
