Review on HJC Helmet Medium Semi Flat Black by Aaron Wood

I took this helmet to replace an old HJC that had seen better days. I looked at different brands and read hundreds of reviews. I chose RPHA for a number of reasons. Light weight, safety, quality and case size. I'm pretty sure if you don't spend a lot of money on a carbon fiber helmet you won't find a lighter helmet. Additionally, the overall size looks and feels smaller, reducing that dreaded bobble head effect. I wish it had an upgraded chin strap buckle, but can't complain about the standard double D-ring. It has emergency release cheek pads which I hope will never use. The ventilation is quite good and the noise level is acceptable. Not the quietest helmet, but certainly not the loudest either. Comes with a clear and tinted visor that is easy to change, both are lockable and this is included as well. Everything about this helmet feels premium. I definitely recommend this helmet, you will get a great bang for your buck. I ordered XL because it was the size of my old HJC and it fits great. I forgot what size I have on my head but I think I was just between L and XL.
