It's great to be able to position the camera at almost any angle you want and know it won't move. It lost a star for 2 reasons
The head snaps in and holds a large telephoto DSLR very well. It's great to be able to position the camera at almost any angle you want and know it won't move. It lost the star for two reasons: First, it doesn't let me point 90* up, I think it stops at 60*. The second reason is that they come with two extra quick couplers. They don't have the Manfrotto markings and came off the record when I first got them. I have little faith in additional clips that protect the camera and lens for several thousand dollars. However, the only Manfrotto quick clip included is great and I have no issues with it.
