Dryer fires are REAL. In this case, the stack gets into the filter of the dryer. I usually take the dryer apart to make sure all the dust is removed. However, due to health reasons, I was not able to work with her. The filter was high up in the dryer, not flush or caught on the rags. Wife didn't say just try to seal it. So I got this and wow why vacuum, I had a HUGE draw and then a suction. Pros: Works great, fantastic suction. Disadvantages: The main thing is the sound. maybe my vacuum but there was a high pitched squeak, I opened the "power suction" ring on the hose, letting in more air and reducing the suction. This solved that problem. There really isn't anything to be done about it as it does a great job of transferring and concentrating suction power.
