I like this for my senior/adopted cat Cathy. She weighs 13 pounds. Most of her teeth are gone, making it difficult for her to eat. She also underwent surgery to remove struvite stones. So it's best not only to put down the plate with water, but throw away who knows how much when you change the water every day.
