Review on 🎡 Soundstream BX-10 Digital Bass Repro with Remote Control, Black by Balthazar Cooper

Works great but there are a few things to note

Installed and listened to a few days ago. I was very upset that the included power cord is too short, about 1ft long, maybe less. The sensor is also so tiny that I accidentally ripped the power cord off the terminal just by moving it around. You can tell they are really cheap. I recommend upgrading to a higher caliber. The largest of their terminals seem to work with 14 or 12 gauge. Another problem I had was when I turned the remote knob up and it didn't do anything until 2/3 of a turn, after that it worked like crazy and let me lose the tension. So I changed the unit's jumpers from 2V to "Oh My Goshhh" 10V+. Now it kicks in at about 1/4 turn and sounds a lot cleaner but starts to sound shaky and distorted at 1/2 turn, it works and makes the bass louder and deeper but it will be like a soft muffled hum. behind all that boosted bass sounds muddy. I sent full signal as AudioControl recommends with their epicenter, but it amplifies that soft, rumbling bass when playing songs. With this unit I found that the bass sounded much cleaner with the LPF on the HU set to around 120Hz with a 24dB rolloff. Overall I'm happy with the product, but I need to upgrade my broken oscillator as my voltage keeps dropping when I try to crank it. My HU has a 2V output, but I have a feeling that with 4V + HU this product would really shine. I think I'm getting this little noise due to my HU's low voltage, and maybe it's even clipped since I'm sending the signal with such a wide low-pass filter. I will add photos and videos at the next opportunity and if Revain allows me
